Introducing Hayden Edward
Hayden was added to our family on Thursday, February 12th, 2009 at 7:52 in the morning by c-section. He weighed in at 9 lbs 1 oz and was 20 inches long. Since mommy and baby were doing so well we were able to take them home on Saturday (Valentine's Day).
Christian is doing absolutely great as a new big brother. I admit I was really worried since Christian is such a boy and likes to rough house but he is actually being very soft with Hayden; he always wants to help by handing mommy the wipes and when he hears Hayden crying - Christian comes running to make sure he is OK.
Emily's parents have been great with taking Christian out and making him feel very important during this transition. As well as Emily's mom ended up staying at the hospital with Emi and Christian so I could get some sleep. HOW COOL IS THAT!

Talk about Eddie Jr...HOLY SMOKES!!! Congrats Eddie and Emily on a healthy baby boy! Shaun wishes we lived closer so she could get a hold of those chubby cheeks ;) Hope all is well and Christian continues to be a gentle big brother (even after he finds out that Hayden is there for good!!!) -Brent
congratulations, guys!! haha, brent ain't just whistlin' dixie. hayden looks exACTly like a sleeping Eddie. keep it up and you're gonna have your own football team soon.
